about us

We are dedicated to creating spaces in which people can meet other people.

We want to create places where people can have fun, and do something different.

We try to make our events as accessible as we can. – No one turned away due to lack of funds – Large print info sheets – Most of our venues are wheelchair accessible (Although they may not have a bathroom that is wheelchair accessible) Please contact us to confirm. – A stationary table, so that you don’t have to move from seat to seat/table to table. (Please let us know either before or at the event if you would like to use this option) – A “No Pressure to Partake Party” Clause. Suggested by and for shy people (and non-shy people). You can come and check out the event without feeling pressure to play. And if you feel like playing you can play in the ‘note passing game’. (Note passing can be played by all players.) – We try to make our events as fragrance free as we can, and will ask people to leave if they are wearing a lot of perfumes/cologne. – We put on events for a wide variety of age groups/sexualities and genders. *If you have any ideas on how we can make our events more accessible, please contact us.

Three Minutes or Less had it’s first event, It’s A First, March 23rd, 2006.
The idea came from a lack of queer meeting spaces, and the newly single status of the event’s creator. “I had just come out of a 3 year relationship and wanted to surround myself with people who wanted to have fun and meet new people, and hey if I got a few dates out of it, that would be nice.” What resulted was an event that helped people get to know people in a different way. Other events include, On Your Sleeve, 2 in 1 Extravaganza and more…

—more to come.
